Hi I Have A Toshiba Satellite And When You Power Up Its Fine But After A While It Dies As If You Are Holding The Power Switch But It Will Switch Back On For A Brief Second And Back Off Again Wait Half An Hour Give Or Take And It Works To A Point And It Dies Again Please Help

You don't say if it does this when AC power is attached, if this is only when running on battery power your battery needs replacing. Laptop batteries lose effective charge performance after time, if you use your laptop in a docking station or plugged in install the old battery . constant charging destroys battery life. Ni Cads should be stored discharged, Li-on batteries should be stored with a half charge.
