change parts or change notebook?

Hello everyone!

I own a macbook pro 13 "early 2011, with several flaws, but still works (not like new, but it works.)

To work well, it needs a new battery ($99,95), apparently also need an MagSafe DC-In Board ($24,95) and is quite slow, so maybe a new processor??? :S

What do you think? Buying a new computer or buy spare parts plus a new processor?

I would like only be able to change parts, I do not want to generate more technological waste.

sorry my english, i speak spanish!

thnx!

Hello Juanita recycling your old mac is always a noble idea and it will be a lot less expensive to refit your old laptop than buying a new one however it all depends on what you want to do with your machine. If your going to be using it for work on a daily basis and will be using it a lot then you may want to invest in new but if you need a laptop for general use and don't have any heavy demands on it then you should be fine refitting your old machine
