Broken keyboard backlight cable/connector

Hi! I took apart my A1398 MacBook and when I removed the logic board I forgot the backlight keyboard cable plugged and it snapped. The snapped part (with the connector) looks like this (I peeled a bit of the plastic to see the connectors):

Do you think an experienced fixer might be able to solder the cable back together? Or buying the backlight keyboard (around 30-40$ in my country) and replacing it is the only option? Thank you!

how much would the skilled solder guy charge to solder that cable back on, vs the 30-40$ charge for the back light? I would say that u would come out cheaper getting the back light, but to answer the question im not certain if that thin cable can be soldered back together and even if you do how well will it work, seems to me its so thin its almost impossible not to burn through it. but let us know how it goes

Yeah it's really thin and I think it's impossible to solder it, you can't even separate the 'pins'. I'll get the backlight and I'll change it, I saw it's not too hard since I don't have to take the keyboard off. Thank you!
