This camera uses MicroSD memory cards for storage. Use of a memory card might be considered optional, since the camera has WiFi capability one would use the network to directly transfer images to other devices such as smartphones or tablets. However, this of course requires the presence of a wireless network, and use of a memory card is recommended in order to use the camera to its full potential.

The memory card slot is inside the battery compartment on the bottom of the camera.

MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC cards up to 64 GB are supported. Use of Class 6 (high speed) cards is recommended particularly when shooting video.

Your camera requires a memory card, such as the MicroSD, Micro SDHC or MicroSDXC. More information on this can be found on Samsung's device page, under full specifications, scroll down to storage.

The memory card is placed in the same compartment as the battery, located on the bottom of your camera.

Push the card into this slot. To remove the card, push down and it should pop out.
