Samsung Galaxy 5 will Charge but won't sync

Recently my phone has not been able to sync with my computer. It will charge but not sync. I've never had this problem in the past as I have always been able to connect to various desktops/laptops with no problem. I have tried several different micro USB cords and several different computers and USB ports. Nothing seems to work

Any help or suggestions will be much appreciated.

Because I continued to try and fix this matter, I figured it out myself! For anyone else that may be having this problem...

This is the link that was able to help me.

You have to drag down your status bar on your note 5 and simply click on where is says the USB is being used for charging. When you click it will give you several different options. When I clicked on one of the options my computer immediately signaled that it connected.
