Blank LCD & Digitizer Replacement

Hi Guys,

I'm hoping someone here can help me.

I have installed a new LCD Screen and Digitizer on an IPAD 4th generation unit. The unit will power on and can be seen via iTunes but the display does not work and there is also no backlight. When hard reset / restored via Itunes the Apple Logo appears for a second and then the panel seem to turn off but you can see the iPad via itunes.

Any ideas what is up here and how I can fix it. have tried reseating the ribbon cables several times.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Backlight IC is most likely at fault. Not easily replacable as it requires heating of the chip to a certain temperature to take it off and put a new one on a logic board.
