So I restarted my phone because it was having issues charging and now it won't turn on so i'm not sure what to do and there's no poutside reset thing. i've tried plugging it into the charger but it had 70-80 % left and the screen it still black it's plugged into the charger.

Hi,
Try performing a master reset using the hardware keys. This is also known as a hard reset.
Be aware that a hard reset will erase all your user data and downloaded apps. It will restore your phone to a factory default condition. It will be like when you first bought it.
Before you perform a hard reset:
Ensure that the battery is charged (80% is good enough).
Do not leave the charger plugged in while performing a hard reset.
Remove the external SD Card (if installed).

Be patient it takes a little while to complete a reset.
