Galaxy Note 3 will not power on?

So, my phone will not turn on. I let it die last night to the point to where it said it was at 0% but it was still on, then it died without showing the Samsung screen. For the past week or so, it has been saying for me to use the original charger it came with for faster charging, although I have been. I have tried holding down the power button for a while, and I also tried removing the battery and then putting it back, and neither things worked. I also let it charge over night to give it plenty of time to charge, and it still won't turn on. What is wrong with my phone, and, what can I do to turn it back on?

Sounds like you have either a charger problem , a cord problem or a port problem . Start by inspecting the charger port . Is it loose or damaged is there dirt in the port if there is clean it with a wooden tooth pick and compressed air. if its damaged or loose you may need to replace it . If alls well with the port check your cable try a different one as well as the charger. If you were getting the message the charger wasn't original it may have been that the charger or cord were failing and that its time to replace them. One last note Has the battery ever been replaced ? If not this is an old phone and a new battery may be in order. Hope this helps

some thing similar happened to my s4 try a system reboot. if i remember correctly you need to hold the power button home button and vol up button at the same time for around 10 seconds then it'll give you a list of options. if you google system reboot for you phone you should find a vid on youtube thatll walk you through it step by step.
