Is my phone bricked?

I just replacedon't the home button and LCD display on my iPhone 5s because it was dropped in water and the screen was discolored, but it still worked perfectly fine. But after I replaced those parts all that shows up on the screen is Apple logo and sometimes it blinks a red screen. Now, I have thought of taking it apart and disconnectingredients all the wires because I had done that with an iPhone 5c and it factory reset the phone. But is there any way that I can fix the phone other that factory reseting the phone? Or will doing that even work?

You could try putting the iPhone in DFU mode, hold power and home for 10 seconds, then release power and keep holding home for about 5 seconds. Plug it into your pc/Mac and iTunes will discover an iPhone in recovery mode, try a fresh restore that way.
