Home Button Replacement Problem

I got a new home button and metal bracket. I can assemble the parts no problem but I cannot click the home button. It seems as if the metal bracket and the button click part are to close together

I tried 2 home buttons, one from eBay and one from amazon. The bracket I got from IFIXIT. Has anyone ever had this problem, I just cant figure it out. I've taken off and replaced countless home buttons on iPhone 5's and even a I6 and never had this problem.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Check if the metal bracket is flat and not bent and the correct screws are used to hold the metal plate behind the home button.
