Touchscreen changed but it won't work anyway

Hello everyone,

I've got a problem with my iPhone 5. A few weeks ago the touchscreen stopped to respond all the time. If I wanted to open an app my iPhone opened another one or if I wanted to type a message just very strange words were the result. But if I pushed the power button it started to work again. I made a reset but it still didn't work.

So I decided some days ago to buy a new display which I installed today. But the problem still exists! I made another reset but that didn't help.

So my question is what else can I do to fix the problem? Is there a component which I can replace?

Thank you for your answers!

Touch IC chip most likely needs to be replaced. Not easily user replacable as you will need to heat it up to a certain temperature to remove it and place a new on one. Will require professional repair skills to do this.

Better to take it to a professional repair shop that specializes on these kind of repairs.
