Wifi hardware not detected. (already replaced airport drive.)

So I'm trying to fix my friends computer. She spilled a ton of coffee on it. And lucky enough the only thing wrong was the wifi hardware not being detected. I replaced the airport drive (not knowing the amount of dried coffee on the other side of the logic board.) So I took it apart and was taken aback at the sheer amount of dry coffee everywhere. I set to it with rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush and got the logic board spotless. Its still not detecting the wifi hardware. What should be my next step? Looking at wiring? Or replacing the logic board?

You may need to replace the AirPort cable as well here. Follow this IFIXIT guide: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012 AirPort/Bluetooth Cable Replacement and this part: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody (Early 2011/Late 2011/Mid 2012) Airport/Bluetooth Cable

If that doesn't fix it I would suspect you have an issue with the logic board, You might be able to get someone the deeper skills to fix the logic board or as you pointed out it maybe time for a new logic board.

Are you sure the keyboard and trackpad are OK? Often when I get a wet system I have to replace one or both as well.
