want to run off SSD in 1st gen mac pro

But due to the software I run I must be able to run at least Mavericks. Is that possible?

I posted the numbers from my Mac Pro twice but cannot tell if it was successful or not.

The navigation for this site is ..................odd, to say the least.

I would have thought it would be some kind of continuose thread, but apparently not?

First we need to know your exact machine, some of the first ones will only go to 10.7.5.

The bus is SATA II 3 Gb/s. So the drive will need to be backward compatible. Next you will need a drive sled to hold the drive, here's one for the 2006-2008: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/MM352...
