Apple TV bricked, blank

Moved Apple TV to older tv, it did not have HDMI. I used HDMI to Component cable.

Did not get anything. Moved back to previous location hooked it up as it was, and the screen is blank. Restored on iTunes to original factory setting, connected again and.. The screen is blank. What to do now?

Hi,

Using a HDMI to component cable may have damaged the HDMI output circuitry of the Apple TV3 . You cannot convert a Digital video signal (HDMI) to an Analogue video signal (component) with just a cable connection. You need to use a converter such as in this example http://www.hdtvsupply.com/convert--hdmi-...

Here is one of many links regarding this problem.
