My laptop is not turning on yet the battery is plugged in?

Went to turn on my Acer Aspire e15 Es1-512-P0SY laptop but nothing happened. Figured it may be dead so I plugged it in. The orange light came on but nothing happened when I tried turning it on. Tried holding the button down but the orange light flickers. Let it charge for an hour and nothing is still happening.

Take the Battery out and plug in the power brick then try to turn it on, did it do anything? Do you hear the hard drive ticking?

Can't take the battery out its built in apparently. Downloaded the manual on a different computer and found this tiny hole on it that restarts the battery or something so used a paper clip to push that and it started working. Thanks for the feedback though.
