Why can't I touch my screen

Sometimes, when I try to unlock my screen, it's as if it is not recognizing me touching it. I'm only able to unlock my screen if I restart my phone and fiddle with it for a few moments.

Hi,

Check the following setting to see if it improves the phone's handling.

Go to Menu > Settings > Accessibility > Touch and Hold Delay. Set it to Short

Depends on how fast after turn on that you are trying to unlock the unit. I have the same issues with my phone and Ipad after turn on in that I have to wait until they are fully booted up before their swipe/unlock screen will recognize my input in unlocking them. So if you are trying to unlock your phone as soon as it is turned on an yet having issues you might want to wait until it is fully booted up.

Basically any iPhone and iPad does the same thing as well, you'd have to wait a bit after it shows the lock screen or has finished booting up then the touch screen will respond fine.

Edit: If not, all devices.
