Water Damage - Error -1? Can't Restore

Hi,

Dropped my iPhone 6 in water and it turns on fine, but goes to the "Connect to iTunes" screen.

When restoring it in DFU mode or normal mode, It comes back as error -1

If i'm correct this is a baseband issue yes? Do I need to replace the baseband modem ic chip? And if I do can I use any off the internet or do I need to replace it off an existing iphone?

You cant replace the baseband without using factory tools to rewrite the device serial number, so this is mostly a lost cause.

Use the iFixit part. It does sound like a baseband issue. The one from iFixit is going to work, or they'll give you your money back. It's a quality part, and I don't trust much else...
