mower won't start without jump

Won't start without a jump. Battery is a year old. Started fairly soon after battery replacement. A starter part was replaced (not entire starter). Immediately after shut off, mower will not start. No clicking; no attempt to turn over; nothing

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@coco10 check to make sure that your riding mower actually charges the battery. IF you can give us more information on what model your mower is and what engine your mower has, we can maybe help you further

Check the seat switch and clutch pedal switch. They must both be engaged for mower to start. I believe the Craftsman tractors also need to be in neutral. Hope that helps.
