Dropped MacBook won't charge

I recently dropped my macbook pro and bent the side where you plug in the charger. After the drop, the computer worked fine except for the not charging thing. How much would this cost to replace? Would it work if I tried to bend it back myself? I have a feeling this would be an expensive fix...
