no device installed

After I changed the superdrive a noticed that I can insert a dvd or cd but i can't eject it. Taking a look at system profiler, I saw that i don't have any device installed...

Any suggestions?

I would suggest rechecking the connections to the new superdrive. If good you might want to try reinstalling the original drive. You might have a defective drive--it happens. Ralph
