Downgrade to "older" SSD from Late 2013

Hello everybody,

can i downgrade my ssd from macbook pro 13" early 2015 to an ssd from an macbook pro 13" late 2013?

The OWC SSD are compatible for both, but are "original" ssd from late 2013 also compatible to early 2015 model?

The original is broken and i wan't an "cheap" replacement ;)

Can you explain what broke. We might be able to salvage the SSD.

The SSD getting hot but the Macbook is showing a blank screen. After some tests i got it bootet with the SSD. The Diagnostic is showing that there is a "unknown device". I've replaced the SSD with a used from Ebay

I don't think the combination of system & SSD firmware will allow you.
