Device not charging, battery not at fault.

Not sure of the cause here, but basically my Galaxy note 4 stopped charging. I tried a replacement battery and a replacement charger, neither worked. Device functions while there is a charged battery in it but does not charge the battery. Assuming it's the charging port, but I'm not %100 sure.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

This isn't a comment about you problem, but I just wanted to tell you that the % sign goes after the number.

yes, most likely the charging port. most phone stores including mine will put a new one in and test it before you have to pay for the new charging port. It's kind of a tricky operation because you have to remove the glass to get the old one out (the soft keys are part of the charging port flex cable). The glass can easily be cracked during the operation so be careful who you choose to do the replacement. It should be done by someone who has done a lot of Note 4 repairs.

It is fortunately under warranty, though I doubt it would be covered. We'll see what they say!

Thanks though, good to hear my thoughts confirmed.

I followed the same troubleshooting process and thought the port was the next step. If that doesn't solve it, well. I'm having a crack at it myself later...changing the charging port, hoping not to crack my screen cause I saw the teardown and it's a delicate operation. This may not be an answer, but somebody is having a similar issue. Cheers.

Device won't charge though, when device is switched off, it indicates that charger has been connected. But will not show charging sign.
