I have the Tiger 10.4 DVD software. My netbook optical DVD/CD doesn't work with the Tangerine G3. What DVD/CD drive should I get to upgrade my clamshells. I have 3 of them. All are 300 mhz.

With three units I wouldn't replace them. Get an external Optical drive that you can use on all of them and any future computer.
I like this LaCie external with lightscibe. This one is USB and Firewire but you can get a cheaper one with just USB: http://www.lacie.com/us/products/product...
