Compatability of IPad mini logic boards

Could anybody help me to find out if the logic board on the Ipad mini Retina 2nd generation is the same as the one found used in the non-retina version?

The short answer is: No.

They do have interchangeable parts such as the digitizer, and the antenna, etc.

BUT, the lay-out for the two boards is different, and the more expensive things like LCDs and batteries are not interchangeable.
