I do not remember password and didn't use a disc

I don't have my password, the hint is baffling me (what else is new) and I did not use a disc because my husband gave this computer to me after he got a new one....he is gone now and I can't get into this computer. He had cleared out all of his stuff and I didn't really have much on here yet.....it's been months since I touched it.

Can I do something to reset to factory and start over from zero?

download hirens boot 10.7 boot from cd you will see password tools press you will get active password changer then choose the driver then clock on password must change next login then press Y then restart

when you get start screen just press enter twice
