Computer doesn't recognize webcam, usb ports won't work and sdram port

I'm getting a usb error code 43. I've tried all kinds of fixes. No usb device is recognized when plug in. Nothing registers when I plug in sdram card. Computer can't find webcam either. Tried uninstalling but can't re-install.

Hi, What OS is installed? What problems if any is showing up in Device Manager? Do you mean when you say "No usb device is recognized when plug in" that the USB ports will work if you unplug the webcam? It sounds as if the webcam is faulty and causing the USB controller problems.

Windows 10. I have error code 43 last device not recognized. Any device I plug into ant of the usb ports aren't recognized. They will charge. Mt webcam is built in. Just noticed it wasn't working too, and can't be found.

Hi @ccurtis206 ,

Is there a red cross or a yellow exclamation mark against the USB controllers in Device Manager?

Also your Web Cam is not listed under 'Other Devices' in Device manager by any chance?

Acer doesn't have any Win10 drivers for your laptop (as you already probably know) but there is this site which I have used to get Win 10 drivers for other brand/model laptops which are not being supported by the manufacturer, which do seem to work.

They have the webcam driver as well as a lot of others. I suggest that you only install the one(s) you need, do not install them all. If it is working leave well enough alone.
