Looking for cuh-1215a power supply
I have a cuh-1215a my power supply went out over a week ago and can't find one will a
ADP-240CR work or does it have to be the ADP-240ER
Is this a good question?

Unfortunately these power supplys are not interchangeable. There is a big shortage of them right now...you can't even buy them from China. Unfortunately the only thing you can do is just wait it out....OR you could buy a broken 12xx from Ebay or Craigslist and take the power supply from that.

It CAN be done but will not look pretty. I currently have a 1115a PSU in a 1215a PS4. Since the 12xx uses less power it will pull what needs from the 11xx PSU. (I haven't tried with a 10xx PSU).
Physically, the PSUs, will only fit in their specific console but you can create a jumper or just solder wires to the bottoms of the prongs and to the output pins on the 1115a PSU like I did. I'm sure you could just desolder the prong output connector on the PSU and just relocate it to the spot where it connects to the motherboard prongs. Easy enough if you're good a soldering.
