Why is my image pixelated at max zoom?
The camera claims 32x zoom but the image is fuzzy at that magnification. Is there something wrong with my lens?

It is typical for entry level cameras to lose image quality at higher zooms, so it is unlikely that there is something wrong with the actual lens. While the VIXIA claims a 32x zoom as a selling point, it is not necessarily calibrated to shoot well at that zoom. Try recording your subject from a closer distance with a smaller zoom setting.
