What tool do I need to replace the battery cover on my black 13" MacBook?

If you are referring to the matte black plastic piece that sits atop the battery and lies flush with the lower case when in the computer, it is held on with adhesive. A spudger or even a thin screwdriver would facilitate removal. Patience is key: slowly free the cover from one edge, loosening adhesive as you go. Know that the same adhesive will not hold a new cover on. You will need new adhesive or superglue, if you're up to it.

What do you mean "replace"? To remove it, all you need is a coin, or a large flat-blade screwdriver, or a tough thumbnail.
