Why won't my screen turn on?

I just installed a new rear case on my phone and everything works, beeps when you charge it and vibrates when you turn that on, But my screen won't power up any thoughts?

is the screen black or can you see a faint image. if it's a faint image then it might be the backlight which costs ££. if LCD is black the most common cause is not putting the lcd cable in properly or it pops up as you close the frame. try hard reset first (saves opening it up again) and if that doesn't work then you'll have to take front display off again and reseat cable no1 for lcd.

i have in the past ordered a lcd whose connector didn't fit that on the motherboard... just check that the part you ordered is compatable with your model no. (should be able to find that on itunes- starts with an m? and has 4 digits)

make sure you hold power button down, slide to power off before opening or you will burn out the backlight! (learned the hard way!!!)
