Just want to receive videos through messaging and be able to send videos

by

@Tina Lummus ,

What is the make and model number of the phone?

Have you checked that the "mobile data" setting (usually found in Settings > Wireless and Networks >data usage) has been enabled?

I can't find the video quality

Why can't I send videos through my text messages?

Assuming this is for Blink cameras, this is a known issue. You can share links by choosing your email client such as iOS Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail app

Chosen Solution

Hi,

If you can receive mms messages (texts with pictures or videos) OK then try the following:

Go to Menu > Apps > Camera > Settings > Video > tap Video Quality and select low and see if a video taken with this setting is then able to be sent as an mms.

Where is menu on my phone

by

Hi @ninapiper ,

The menu could also be the home screen for the phone if it has the "Apps" icon showing on it.

If the home screen has the "Camera" app icon showing just tap to open the "camera" app, then either tap on the gear (or "flower" looking) icon in the camera app screen or the right hand soft key below the screen to open the camera's Settings menu options

by

Sadly. That is the solution. What do we live in? The middle ages?

by

Nope don't have those options in my video setting. This is no low quality setting. WHY IN THE !&&* WOULD I EVEN WANT IT IN A LOWEST QUALITY!

by

The issue is sending videos I received via other apps like WhatsApp to a someone else using MMS - not sending keep saying "Message not sent: couldn't resize video"
