Shows the PC desktop but "No SIgnal" won't go away either

My TV always shows the HDMI (1or2) resolution, refresh rate at the top left and the big "No SIgnal" box when PC is connected. It does show the desktop too.

If there wasn't a previous input on the HDMI I can't select it when I plug the computer in. Even though it displays what it's supposed to the TV "won't recognize" there is something hooked up.

TV is Samsung model un65fh6001fxza

I unplugged it for 10 minutes and hooked it back up. - no change

Tried multiple resolutions and refresh rates - no luck w/ any of them

Tried changing input name to DVI PC and PC.

I'll update the firmware as soon as I can find one of my USB drives.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Check HDMI port on TV very closely - it might be some dirt in the connector itself - use a toothpick or very little brush and try to clean it (compressed air helps as well).

Next step is trying with new HDMI cable (some of them are even device sensitive - check picture on connector computer/TV out)

Check HDMI connector on computer side as well

Usually this kind of trouble happened when cable connector is not deep enough in HDMI socket.
