When I use the speakerphone the other person can't hear me. The audio cuts in and out intermitantly. Calls can be heard fine when holding phone to ear and speakerphone is not enabled.

Probably your top microphone is faulty. Is your front camera and proximity sensor working?

Front camera and proximity sensor are working.
You can try and replace the front microphone or just adjust it, i have a case where the microphone was out of place and it didn't want to work. So open the phone and make sure the microphone is in place if it doesn't work then replace the whole flex. Good luck

if it hasn't had a repair recently etc then i would try this.
the earpiece mesh may just be clogged up .
in behind that mesh is a space for the earpiece speaker and a space for the front microphone. if you are facing the screen, take a look at the camera hole.....
now....., where the right hand side of the camera hole ends, you want to run your eye down to the mesh and make a small precise hole in the mesh there using a very fine pin. just push it in enough to break the seal.
try that sure before exploring other avenues as i wasn't sure if it has recently had a repair from your query
