Why can’t I play music using my AUX cord?

I have the cord plugged into my phone as well as into the speaker, but music will not play.

My auxiliary cord is not working I've tried changing the cord I've tried everything I don't know what it is

Hi,

Have you tried a different audio output source to prove that the problem is either in the Sony BT speaker or in the audio source? e.g. tried a different mobile phone to play music from the headphone jack to the speaker via the cable. Apologies if you have already tried this.

Check to see if the AUX cord is firmly connected to both devices. If this does not work and are only two rings, your cord is not compatible. If there are three rings, replace the auxiliary cord. If this does not work, the problem may be with the auxiliary cord jack and you may need to replace it. Check our troubleshooting page for more information.

I have this problem too. I have a SRS XB30. My friend has a SRS XB 20. Auxiliary just doesnt work on any of these. It has to be a Sony speaker problem. Ive been looking everywhere for a solution but nothing. Sorry.

My car sony xplod stereo was when mobile to connect the aux cable not connect.

When the mobile charge to usb and then works good on aux.

What's the problem.

Tum music center application on your phome and connect ypur device via bluetooth. Go to audio/aux in menu and turn up or down the volume. Your speaker will start working.

I am just after buying a NDR wireless speaker but when I connect a my aux cable from the speaker to my radio all getting is buzzing noise does that me my aux cable is faulty.
