iPhone only charges without original cable!

I got quite an interesting iPhone which charges only with an aftermarket cable and doesn't recognize original cable lol ! Also it takes 7-8 hours to charge and 3 hours to discharge completely when left idle with network and wifi.

I have replaced complete lightning part and battery as well so that's definitely not the issue with iPhone. Here are my possible assumptions/solutions but need your suggestions.

1) There is issue with power IC and should try replacing it.

2) Mother board is damaged due to using it with aftermarket cable maybe for overnight charges.

What you guys say on it ?

AND yes i have tried restoring it and it's out of warranty.

This is just guessing I presume is the chip but until you don't change it and see if make different you won't know. Good luck

Did you try with more than 1 original Apple cable? if not try another.

Try clean the port with rubbing alcohol. I noticed you said you changed the battery and it still only have 3 hours of battery ? that sounds weird to me, more weird than the charging problem.

To understand the lightning cable real fast I need to explain something.

The tip of the lightning cable actually has a small chip inside of it that talks to the charging port and asks permission to charge or not to charge. So I dont think it is the cables fault. I have used many off brand cables on my iPhone without any issue. So I think it has something to do with the component.

Take it apart and put it back together

Thanks for your reply. Yes I tried like 10 cables and i said above that i changed the port with another working one so need to clean it as it's working with other phones. Yes I changed the battery and it lasts for 3 hours only due to fault somewhere in board.
