White lines and slide to unlock doesn't work
Replaced broken front panel assembly and now there are vertical white lines down the right side of the display and the "Slide to Unlock" does not work

The lcd could be bad or just loose connections take off and try again and check for loose screws

1. Do a soft reset holding down the home button and the power button and hold both until the apple icon comes on, if it doesn't work go to step two.
2. Remove the connectors and clean with 91% alcohol if you didn't use rubber gloves during the repair, make sure the connectors snap down properly like a Lego. If not go to step three
3. Put the original screen on to see if you still have the problem, if you do you have a defective screen. Get a good quality screen and you should be back in business
