I have trouble with the sound,one side works
I can make it work on one side of the headset but other won't work at all, have tried many sets

This could be as simple as replacing the head phone jack to as complicated as replacing the logic board. I'd start by taking a closer look at the head phone port. When you say "make it work" do you have to jiggle it or partially remove it or even bend it to one side? Like I said, I'd start with the port. Good luck

With ipod's i always find that if 1 side is working or if it cut's in and out it is the headphone jack, if both channels are dead then it's usually the board.
