1 Why does my laptop feel abnormally warm?
My TimelineU laptop keyboard feels really warm to touch, and I’m not sure why.

The fan on your laptop could be malfunctioning due to a build-up of dust or dirt on either the exterior or interior of the laptop. Try dusting the bottom of the laptop and using the computer on only hard, flat surfaces. Leaving the computer on soft surfaces for long periods of time can cause device overheating. If the laptop still continues to be abnormally warm, the fan or vents may need to be replaced. To determine if you need to replace these parts, refer to our Troubleshooting Page.
