What to do my idol 3 will not stop turning off&on

it is stuck powering on and off when on the charger or off. and when i hold the power button and volume buttons i get a warning ! entering download mode! what can i do ? if anything

my idol 3 keeps shutting of when i turn it back on it doesnt make it through the startup and shuts back offf???????????????????????

This hard reset may help (WARNING THIS WILL DELETE ALL YOUR DATA)

How to hard reset:

Power off your phone

Push and hold volume UP+power key until you'll see the Alcatel logo on screen

Select your language by pressing the power key

Select "wipe data/factory reset" with volume keys and press the power key to confirm this

Select "yes - delete all user data" with volume keys and press power key to confirm this

Wait until the format ends

Press the power key to reboot the phone

Wait until the phone restarts
