Having a difficuly time charging my phone

I have to position the power cord just right in order for my phone to charge. Is there anyway to clean the power port to make easier for it to charge, or does the power port need replaced?

Have you tried another lead?.. might not well be the charging point.. but if its the same with another lead chances are you need a new charging point. its an easy fix. all guides are on here for the job. I hope this helps. let us know how you get on

Yes, I have tried a bunch of different leads and some work better than others.

I wasn't sure what the part was called and if it could be replaced. That's awesome, thank you very much for taking the time to answer my question.
