Logic board swapping for higher GHz

My 2.26 logic board is dying. I was wondering if it is possible to swap logic board from 2.26 to 2.53 from same mac model of same year as both CPU were offered? same RAM/ same port/ same GPU. It seems the mounting points a similar but only judging from picture is difficult.

Figure the price is only ~100$ difference might as well get some speed.

Thank you.

Here's the specs for your system: MacBook Pro 13" 2.26 GHz Core 2 Duo (SD/FW)

What about overclocking?

Laptop CPU's are running on a fixed clock unlike some of the desktop CPU's.
