I'm guessing the compass was working fine before the power IC replacement and now it isn't working? This leads me into thinking that the compass IC was close to the power IC and got moved, damaged during the repair.

compass ic located little far from power management ic
i think problem in the connecting part to related to compass ic from pm ic

My device Power IC was in in complaint before had changed it
so it had fixed
