Is my LG LCD TV cheaper to fix or replace?

Okay, so my TV has lines in it when you first turn it on and those lines eventually sink to the bottom where there is a pixelated bar at all times. In the last couple of days a pair of black globs ( as seen in the linked pic) have shown up too and I think they are getting bigger.

The lines and bar were easy to ignore, but the globs are horrible. I don't even know how to search for the issue. 'Screen bleeding' seems to be something else entirely.

What I want to know is: is this fixable? And, more importantly, is the fix cheaper than a new 32in flatscreen?
