Some keys not working on my brand new laptop

I have a new toshiba tecra 940 running window 8. Some letters are not working.....A & B for sure there may be others. I am sure it is a setting somewhere but cant find it....Anyone that can help?

Hi,

Ensure that you have the correct keyboard selected for the language input that you want.
