Why doesn't my horn work

Why didn't my horn work? Fuse works but gets hot. Relay is good

Hi,

If the fuse gets hot when you press the horn button and the relay is working then it seems as though the horn itself may be faulty.

(Horn button operates the relay - relay supplies power from the fuse to the horn).

If you have a DMM (digital multimeter) check that power is getting to one side of the horn when you press the horn button. There should be ground (earth) on the other side of the horn. If power gets there and there is no sound then the horn itself is faulty.
