Why is the gear shift stuck in reverse
the gear shift on the column of our 2001 ford escape wont come out of reverse

Im a sparky so I could be wrong here but I had a similar issue in my Hyundai manual turned out the clutch was completely gone, so the gears couldn't disengage.
