Does it do this while plugged in? Anyway for a issue like that, I'd send it back to where you bought it from for a replacement. Does it happen at a certain battery percentage?

This seems to be a common problem with s6 verizon (sm-g920v) and possibly other models. I believe it may be a hardware problem. or caused by past water damage.
