LCD does not show anything after opening ... Please Help!
Hi,
Please I need some help. Lately I have bought one iPhone 4G from eBay, brand new one. It was working perfectly. Then I have decided to take it apart using your guide, credit to ifixit.com team, and put it back together, as I am doing iPhone repairs myself. So I have just decided to gain some experience, before offering repair services for iPhone 4G. Anyway I have managed to take it apart without any problems. But problems have occured when I was putting everything back. First of all I have managed to snap audio flex cable, but I have bought another one and replaced it. When I have finished all the assembling, I have tried to switch this iPhone on, but could not see anything on the screen, so first thought was that battery was dead. I have connected iPhone to wall plug, heard that beep sound (same sound you hear when iphone or ipod is on charge), but screen did not showed anything. After a while I have moved mute button, and vibrator worked, when connected to my PC, this iPhone is recognized by iTunes. So have opened it again, and the first thing came to my head was, that i have accidently snapped LCD flex cable, so I had a good look at it, but could not find anything unusual. But to make myself clear, i have bought brand new LCD assembly, but when I have attached to this iPhone same story, does not show anything, vibrator works, charge sound beeps, itunes can see it. By the way I have forgot to mention, when I was assembling this iPhone back, I did not used original middle steel frame, instead I have this bling one, with 600 stones encrusted along perimeter of iPhones bezel, but i do not really know can it be relevant to this issue or no.
Sorry for such a long story, but I am really desperate now, as I have spent quite a bit of money on this iphone and parts. Any sugestions, tips or solutions will be really appreciated.
Thanks, and hope someone up here can help me.
Lymus
Is this a good question?
It occured that I've twisted a little pin at the top of the logic board, the problem came from that. I've sent it to replace to Apple and they did it :D !
