How do I separate the housing set after removing the screws?

I removed the screws but the housing set is stuck on the ergonomic grip. I tried prying it open with a plastic tool, but it started to damage the external case. Where should I pry open the Dremel 4000 to avoid this?

Options

The Dremel 4000's cushioned grip which can make it a challenge to pry apart the casing. The key is to first remove the housing cap which will expose the hard plastic threads of the exoskeleton, then use your prying tool to start a wedge there.
