Why is my camera loosing power so fast after being charged?

My Nikon Coolpix S33's battery life has become very short, lasting only around an hour after being fully charged. I am not sure what to do.

The battery may need to be replaced. If it is an old battery, it will not last long while being used. Is it getting hot while you use it? If so, the environment where you are using the camera may be too hot. The camera may also be overheated due to long usage.
